Introduction to the job
As a Business Data Analyst at ASML it is your role to combine and analyze data within IT business applications to create insights on the creation, maintenance and quality. These insights are used to improve the data creation and data quality that is required to execute business processes and to define data quality metrics and trusted data-sets. You will be applying leading analytics tools and technologies to conduct your analyses.

Role and responsibilities
As Business Data Analyst you will have the opportunity to leveraging your analytical skills to create new insights on the creation and maintenance of ASML business data. This will help the ASML Data Domains to improve the data creation process and the data quality. The analyses will support the definition of data quality metrics and trusted data-sets.

Some of the main task you will perform as Data Analyst are:
Perform analytical deep-dives to support root cause analyses and identify bottlenecks, waste and improvement opportunities
Define data quality metrics to be used by data-domains, multiple sectors, business lines, factories etc,
Define trusted data-sets that are used for the reporting needs of sectors, business lines, factories etc, from operational to managerial level
Provide expertise and consultancy based on business need
support in formulating problem statement and performing exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
Apply leading analytics tools and technologies to develop in-depth understanding of structured and unstructured data on the topic at hand.
Interact with technical and non-technical (cross-sector) stakeholders and be able to present and explain analytical problems, approach, results and recommendations.

Education and experience
-Reporting, data visualization and modelling experience
-Knowledge or previous working experience with TIBCO Spotfire, PowerBI, Celonis, Python or similar data visualization or process mining tools
-Knowledge or previous working experience with SAP and/or Teamcenter
-Master’s Degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Data Science, Econometrics, Physics, Business Analytics or similar
-Experience with the latest data analysis and analytics tools and techniques.
-Business sensitivity and ability to make the step from theoretical models to creating business impact.
