Introduction to the job
The mission of the new Business Performance Improvement (BPI) sector is to orchestrate the portfolio definition of improvement programs at ASML level, its prioritization based on customer and business impact, and its execution by the different sectors or, if needed, with its own resources. It will focus on end-to-end processes, requiring to look across organizational boundaries, and considering the entire flow creating value for the customer.
We are looking for a Portfolio Officer. Someone who supports the BPI Portfolio Managers in the annual and quarterly process, ensures portfolio information from all sectors is available, and analysis is done to prepare for prioritization and balancing of the BPI portfolio and procedures & tooling to enable this process are in place.
Role and responsibilities
As a Portfolio Officer you will:
Coordinate the controlled intake process from the Sector portfolios to create insight in portfolio status and outlook for coming quarters, covering timing, resource types and benefits
Take the lead in creating an overview of (critical) resource issues ASML wide that impact portfolio execution progress and support in preparing proposals for decision making
Setting-up, arranging and facilitating meetings, workshops and team-sessions
Actively looking for improvement opportunities to add value to the business and our BPI Portfolio Management way of working
Structuring and securing relevant portfolio management documents and decisions, following-up on actions and decisions
Contributing to the competence build-up of the Portfolio Management community
Participating in Strategy & Portfolio improvements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the annual & quarterly process
Education and experience
Bachelor or Master degree, preferably Business Engineering or (Technical) Business Administration, Business Management, or other relevant field
Certified in Prince2, IPMA-D, IPMA PMO, PM-Bok, MoP or similar
Minimum of 5 years working experience as a hands-on Portfolio Officer or as a Project Manager in a dynamic and innovative (high-tech) organization
Expert knowledge in the area of portfolio management, specifically management control and resource management in a high-tech environment
