Introduction

The Finance Transformation Office is the custodian of the overarching Finance mission and vision. It shapes and drives the finance transformation by translating their strategic priorities into a clear defined end-state, roadmap and change portfolio. The portfolio managers, supported by the senior PMO, are managing the change portfolio and the transformation leads are executing selected strategic initiatives. Change and communication managers safeguard the momentum and aligned communication throughout ASML and Finance.


Job Mission
The Portfolio Management team is orchestrating the transformation agenda and governance the initiation and the delivery of the change portfolio. It creates transparency, secures controls and coordinates decision making. When required trade-off conversation(s) in case of scarcity (prioritization) is facilitated.

To support this we cascade ASML’s methodologies, tools and techniques to the relevant users.

Job Description
As Senior PMO'er you are responsible for:

· Driving effective decision making on all levels as a trusted ‘advisor’;

· Pro-actively connecting, enabling and challenging all stakeholders;

· Implementing and improving the project management methodology and related topics such as project planning, financial management, reporting, change control, risk management and quality. This in combination, when applicable, with the agile way-of-working;

· Quality controls to secure that the deployed tools & techniques are properly being used by the project leaders, epic owner and project management officers;

· The reporting process: that complete, consistent and up-to-date reporting on the status of the change portfolio is available;

· The resource management process: to drive the claim, allocation and escalation process within Finance;

· Supporting the annual and quarterly (re) prioritization and (re) balancing of the finance change portfolio.


Education
· Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree, preferably in the field of Finance & Accounting; and (agile) project management certified.

Experience
· At least 8+ years of working experience as (senior) project management officer or practical experience as a project manager in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment;

· Knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

· Knowledge of collaboration tools (e.g. Sharepoint, Teams);

· Knowledge of Project Management and/or Portfolio Management Tools (Project Online);

· Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects or ability to do so.


Personal skills
· Proficient communicator, being able to influence without hierarchical power, creative in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders;

· Maintains personal effectiveness and people focus under pressure, high speed of change and uncertainty;

· Ability to guide, coach and advise at operational and tactical level to effect sustainable change and improving the project and process maturity level of the organization;

· Team player, enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with the ability to work independently;

· Positive and flexible attitude with unplanned challenges in your daily work.

· Brings structure and drives standards.

· Hands-on mentality, takes ownership and gets things done.

Context of the position

This role is positioned within the Finance Transformation Office, reports to Head of Portfolio Management and supports the Portfolio Managers in the team.


Preferred start date: 17th of June
Assignment duration: 24 Months
FTE: 40 hours
Working from home: Partially, 3 days in the office
Department: Finance Program Management
Preferred language: English | Dutch is nice to have
