Role and responsibilities
This role is situated in the Big Data Analytics (BDA) Domain. Our teams have mixture of young talent and senior specialists and have a strong focus on delivering business value for our stakeholders. In addition, we work in the Scaled Agile Framework 5.0.

Team
In this role you will be positioned in one of the teams within our Corporate Analytics Hub department. This Agile Release Train operates and delivers various analytics applications and solutions to our corporate sectors (i.e. HR, marketing, sales, communications, IT etc).
In your daily activities you will be closely aligned with your peer engineers/developers, our solution architects and teams that are responsible for building the technical integration.

Goal
As HANA Cloud developer your main task is to analyze, design and implement data models and related procedures in HANA Cloud, realizing our product backlog as defined by one of our Product Owners.

Next to the development we expect you to own your solution by making sure it’s optimized and the quality is assured.

You will be using multiple integrated systems, so you’ll help organize the interfaces together with the integration team and your system architect.

Education and experience

Education & training
- Bachelor degree or higher
- SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP HANA Cloud Modeling (training and/or certification)

Experience:
- You should have at least 5 years (or more) of working experience in the field of business intelligence or business analytics.
- Experience with developing using GIT based HANA automated deployment pipelines

To thrive in this job, you’ll need the following skills:

Technical skills:
- Excellent understanding of SAP HANA (2.0 / Cloud), Data Modelling and writing procedures
- Knowledge of SQL
- CAP (SAP Cloud Application Programming Model), specifically NodeJS (for our source data API’s)
- Experience with developing using GIT based HANA automated deployment pipelines
- Knowledge of OData / REST services
- Basic Spotfire skills

Non-technical Skills:
- Fluent in English
- Pro-active / self-starter
- Communicative (e.g. during the daily and/or when requirements are fleshed out in refinement sessions)
- Managing stakeholders
- Team player
